After months of worry, legal fees and a full re-brand the transition to Meat:Stack is now complete. A lesson to anyone starting their own business - ALWAYS check your name before you start and play it safe or be sorry. When everything seemed to be going so well, the last few months have been challenging both financially and mentally.
In our case we are lucky to have had the help of some great friends, contacts and contractors to come up with our new brand Meat:Stack and the associated website, social media accounts, print and everything else. We feel it is a stronger brand and it is definitely the right brand to take us forward for years to come. We could have given up, and this could have cost us our business so we will forever be grateful for the help, support and general acceptance of this which essentially came out of our naivety when we started out.
We now must move on and we have many exciting things on the horizon. Firstly we have branched out into Edinburgh into Salt Horse which is an amazing opportunity for us to operate in a really top quality bar which is at the head of its game in the craft beer world.
We have employed two great local chefs Craig and Andrew who have quickly gelled into the Meat:Stack team and are already cooking up some awesome food north of the border. If you live in Edinburgh or are visiting, get yourself in for a beer and a burger, you wont regret it!
Also we have our first big solo venture on the way with our Grainger Market outlet. This is what we set out to do nearly two years ago and we are now only weeks away from getting it open. Exciting times ahead in the Meat:Stack office/kitchen so watch this space...
