We’ve had a lot of people trying to book tables with us over the last week or so and as such we wanted to let you know that we are not taking table bookings due to the nature of how we serve our food.

Meat:Stack is casual and fast paced and if we are honest isn’t suited to the current table service rules. Luckily we have an amazing team who are working hard to make the experience as authentic and enjoyable as possible for you.

All we want to do is get our cheeseburgers in your hands as quickly as possible and we will continue to do that.

We haven’t designed the parklet (nice though it is) as a place to sit for hours and hours. Grabbing a burger isn’t a three-course ordeal and we want you to be able to make a decision on the spot to come and get one. We’re passionate about our cheeseburgers and want as many people to be able to enjoy them as possible. Therefore, although sometimes it is nice to have a booking, the process would be a little bit drawn out and make it less casual and accessible which isn’t really us.

At Meat:Stack you will always be able to turn up and grab a seat when one becomes available. You won’t ever be turned away by someone on the door and if there isn’t a seat available straight away then you will have the choice to either wait in a small queue and we will seat you at the earliest opportunity, or you can grab a takeaway and take a wander to the nearest benches (about 20 meters away on the Bigg Market) and have your meal there!

So please don’t be put off by not knowing if there's going to be a table available, we turn them quick and the true essence of Meat:Stack is to have a top burger without all the fuss.
